The Ford Fairlane was sold between 1955 to 1970 with a variation of body styles and sizes through its years of production. Introduced as a full-sized car the first and second generation Fairlane was offered as a highly stylized and customizable family vehicle. One of the most popular models was the Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner with a powered retractable hardtop produced in 1957. By the early 1960s the Fairlane was restyled as a mid-sized car to bridge the gap between the compact Falcon and full-sized Galaxie. In 1962 the Fairlane became available with one of the first small block V-8 engines built by Ford and offered the first Fairlane Sports Coupe which continued to 1965. In 1966 The Fairlane body style changed once again, this time to a full-sized Ford and introduced the XL, GT, and GTA models as well as the convertible to join the existing sedan, hardtop, and station wagon body styles. Through the late 60s the Fairlane shared the same design as the Torino and was slowly phased out by 1970. ACP carries Ford Fairlane parts all with quality and OE style in mind.
