The Ford Crestline was released in 1952 and was marketed as the top trim level amongst the full-size Ford line, with the Customline being the intermediate level and the Mainline being the lower base level. Although the Ford Crestline lasted for only three years, Ford produced over 543,000 vehicles ranging from Coupes, Convertible and Station Wagons. In 1955 the Crestline was replaced with the Ford Fairlane.
