As of today, the Ford Country Squire is the third-longest running Ford car lasting an impressive 41 years in production from 1950 to 1991. Considered the premium, top-of-the-line station wagon, the Country Squire was recognizable from its wood grain body trim. The Country Squire went through seven generations that covered various models from the Custom Deluxe to the Fairlane and ending with the LTD Crown Victoria in 1991. The Mercury Colony Park is considered the counterpart to the Ford Country Squire and shared many of the same bodywork and trim.
