First built by Ford in 1952, the Country Sedan was a full-sized station wagon that was based on their full-size car lineup. The Country Sedan was considered the mid-trim station wagon when compared to the Country Squire. The 1952-1954 body was based on both the Crestline and Customline before becoming its own series in 1955.
